4:00-5:30: Who’s Line is it Anyway? Improv for the Young Actor
(ages 9-12) 2/9-4/27
Improvisation is an important and necessary tool for all
performers. Spontaneity, humor, imagination and group collaboration
are all tools we will use while laying the foundation for skills
such as stage presence, self-confidence, ensemble work and stronger
acting. Our session will end with a Live Improv Theater Evening
for family and friends on the last class. $195
4:00-5:30: Intro to the Popular Musical Revue (ages
7-10) 2/9-4/27
Boogey and groove your way through some of the most popular youth
ensemble musical selections today, such as High School Musical,
Grease, Hairspray and more! Emphasis will be on training the student
in proper breathing technique, introducing the concept of simple
vocal harmonies and basic stylized choreography while integrating
the concept of character into our musical performance. There will
be a final performance on the last evening of class. $215

which have made their way to Broadway. Examples could include: The
Sound of Music, Tarzan, Mary Poppins and more. Emphasis will be

through improvisation and playmaking. Utilizing drama games, group
improvisations and some basic script writing we will put together
skits based on some of your favorite Harry Potter moments! There

last class. $195
FRIDAYS
4:00-6:00: Acting for the Camera (ages 9-13) 2/13-4/24
Ever want to learn how acting for the camera is different from acting
for the stage? In this class we will be preparing students for auditions
and script-based scene work. The classes are filmed, which allows
students to see progress and improvement throughout our session.
The filming also teaches students how to "act for the camera",
which is essential preparation for most of the work actors will
encounter. All of our work together will be done in the context
of comparing theater and film. If you want to work in Hollywood
one day or you just have a passion for film there is no substitution
for an on-camera class. $215
