Now in our 20th year, we look forward to in-person camps in a private setting in an outdoor location.
Camp will take place in a local public park, Loretto Heights, 2800 S Lowell Blvd, Denver, CO 80236. All camps will end in a final performance with costumes in a festive outdoor setting, practicing social distancing guidelines.
Student temperatures will be taken at the beginning of each day of camp. Any students with cold symptoms will be sent home for the day. Students will be asked to wear masks as necessary when in close proximity.
For a full understanding of our terms and conditions regarding in-person camps, please review our COVID-19 Release of Liability, which is intended to keep everyone safe and is incorporated into the online camp registration process.s

Improv Comedy Sports
Directed by Levi Franklin
Ages 10 – 16
August 1 – August 5 (1 week).
Final Presentation: Fri, August 5 at 4:00pm
This one-week acting intensive provides an in-depth experience for the actor who wants to enhance both their comedic and dramatic acting skills. Straight acting can be different from acting for musical theatre in that it demands subtly, a keen attention to text, and the skills necessary to navigate the internal experience of a character in an authentic fashion. In this intensive, we will explore the fundamentals of scene study, introduce campers to dynamic acting methods, and prepare them to approach work in the realm of the “straight play” with confidence. A final presentation of scene work will take place on the afternoon of our last class.
PRICE: $425
How WE’RE DIFFERENT from other camps!!
-
Low student-staff ratio! We achieve a lot in a short time and do so by keeping our programs well-staffed with a low student-staff ratio.
-
We produce top notch youth theatre and build a strong community. We train our actors to work as a team. Ensemble work accompanies all the work we do and the students thrive on it!
-
Professional theatre staff. Our teachers are theatre professionals with professional performance experience as well as a B.A. and/or M.A. in theatre. All our teachers are trained by us with a passion for the performing arts.
-
We are an equal opportunity program and there are no student “stars”!
Final Performances: Performances will be live in person or recorded for re-broadcast. Final decision will be made based on latest state guidelines regarding group gatherings. Parents will be emailed one week prior to last day of camp.
Cancellation Policy: No cancellations after April 16. Partial credit of deposit may be issued toward future programming in the case of medical emergencies.
