We are proud to offer you online classes to support your child during this challenging time.
PLEASE READ BELOW CAREFULLY as we are not replying to non-critical emails, due to most of our admin staff being in furlough.
Days & Times – Classes below meet once at the day and time below. New classes will be posted by Wednesday at 5pm for the next week. So check back often to register for new classes. Or get weekly updates now. Online classes will currently be offered through the week of May 18. Class registration is on a first come first serve basis.
How To Join A Class – After registering below, you will get a confirmation email with a Zoom link to join your class. Check your inbox and/or spam shortly after registering. SAVE THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL.
Parent Online Consent – By registering for a class, you give parent consent for your child to participate in our online programming.
Kids 10 & Under – Parents, please set up the call for your child 10 & under. For ages 8 & under, parents please show up with your child for the first 10 minutes of class or as needed to help them get set up.
Testing Your Audio & Mic Prior to Class – Please know that we will not be able to troubleshoot any tech issues during class. As such, please test your audio and mic prior to class.

- More than two classes per week.
This does not include the Family Fun Friday: Improv night on May 22.
You can register for two classes per student as well as the Family Fun Friday.

Wednesday, May 13, 4-5 PM – Ages 9+
1. Making Music Video Style Dances. Taught by Madeline Shaffer.
Music Video Style Dance is a unique genre of dance that has roots in contemporary hip hop and pop dance styles. Join us for this high energy dance class and learn some moves as you create your own dance!

Thursday, May 14, 4-5 PM – Ages 6-10
2. Acting the Story: “Harry Potter”. Taught by Katie Turner.
Together using movement and pantomime we will go on an imaginative journey where we will act out the story of “Harry Potter” playing different characters and exploring all the fun and exciting elements of the story. This class is for the student who wants to let their imagination go wild!

Thursday, May 14, 5:30-6:30 PM – Ages 10+
3. Pentatonix inspired Acapella Group. Taught by Carrie Colton.
**Headphones/Earbuds required
If you love to sing come join us! Let’s do group singing online! We will watch some Pentatonix for inspiration and then each week learn a new song using simple harmonies as we improve our vocal technique. This will be like a virtual choir but so much cooler!

Friday, May 15, 4-5 PM – Ages 8+
4. Theater Yoga! Taught by Jake Foster.
In this fun yoga class we will move through a variety of fun poses and sequences bringing to life the animals and characters many of the traditional poses are named after! Think of Crane, Downward Dog, Cobra, Butterfly and more!!

Monday, May 18, 4-5 PM – Ages 9+
5. Vocal Fundamentals/Technique. Taught by McKensey Struzik.
A class focused on vocal technique. Students will come out of the class with a better understanding of how the voice works, how to properly warm-up their voice as they learn tools for proper vocal care.

6. Basic Song writing: Performing the Song. Taught by Madeline Shaffer.
What goes into creating powerful stage presence and the presentation involved with performing a song? Let’s learn some tools to make your performance come to life!

7. Voice for the Commercial Voiceover. Taught by Carrie Colton.
In this class we will learn how to approach commercial text using a variety of different vocal styles. Experience what it could be like to do voiceover for TV or radio!

8. Writing and performing the Neutral Scene. Taught by Katie Turner.
In this class we will write our own short neutral/open scenes and perform each other’s scripts learning how different interpretations create unique theatrical outcomes!

9. Broadway Style Jazz Dance. Taught by Madeline Shaffer.
Get stylized in this introductory jazz dance class! This course will feature a warm up to get you sweating with a fusion of classic jazz movements culminating in an exciting combination to a popular Broadway musical!

12. Playful Puppetry. Taught by Jake Foster.
***Come prepared with an old sock, scarf or paper bag.
Find fun and creative ways you can make a puppet, create a character and then bring it to life with just with a few items around your house!

13. Family Fun Friday: Improv night Taught by Jake Foster and Carrie Colton.
***Students must be accompanied by at least one adult as this is a FAMILY event.
Generate an experience of play and fun as you gather the family together and play improv games that you can learn and continue to play on your own as a family! Come be creative and learn something new together!
